Open Call for proposals SUMMER ACADEMY 2026

Universidad de La Salle (Colombia) is pleased to announce the open call for Professors for the International La Salle Summer Academy 2026.

About us:

Universidad de La Salle is a private Christian university founded and directed by the Brothers of the Christian Schools. The University has about 19,000 undergraduate and graduate students distributed in the four University headquarters located in Bogotá and Yopal, Colombia. The International La Salle Summer Academy is an internationalization initiative at home aimed to promote interdisciplinary training courses taught in English by invited Faculty members from all over the world from June 16th to 28th 2026.

Selection criteria:

Universidad de la Salle defines the selection criteria prioritizing professor with a PhD. or PhD candidate, as well as those who provide a brief proposal of the course (title and a brief description of the course: learning objectives, class methodology and evaluation (No more than 300 words). Furthermore, proposals must be aligned with the academic priorities and needs of its faculties.

Course requirements

• Dates: from June 16th to 28th, 2026.
• The language of instruction is English.
• Courses are expected to be taught in-person at our campus.
• 40 hours of classroom contact.

Program Benefits

• Stipend of USD $1,250  (approx. COP $4.900.000 depending on the exchange rate).
• Accommodation: single room on campus for the duration of the course; Airfares: roundtrip (Economy class).
• Cultural activities planned on the weekends.
• Breakfast and lunch at campus cafeteria (Does not include weekends).
